01 / The challenge

THE BRIEF

The 65th Annual Employee Benefits Conference (IFEBP) brought benefits decision-makers to San Diego, and every major insurer was competing for their attention on the show floor. UnitedHealthcare needed to stand out and bring those attendees to its booth.

02 / The concept

THE BIG IDEA

Give attendees something genuinely useful on the way in. The wraps said it plainly—“Save your feet. And some money. Free rides to and from IFEBP.”—and every pedicab and driver carried the same call to action: visit booth #621.

03 / On the street

THE EXECUTION

VIP Outdoor Media wrapped 30 pedicabs with UnitedHealthcare’s logo and messages and gave complimentary rides to IFEBP attendees around the Convention Center, the Gaslamp Quarter, and the waterfront. Drivers wore shirts printed “Visit us at IFEBP booth #621,” and branded water bottles extended the campaign into riders’ hands.

WHY IT WORKED

Instead of a sign attendees walked past, UnitedHealthcare became the free ride they chose—and every trip ended with a direct invitation to the booth, turning transportation into booth traffic.

HOW A CAMPAIGN LIKE THIS COMES TOGETHER

Every campaign starts with the event footprint: where your audience sleeps, eats, and moves between sessions. From there we size the fleet, set operating hours and routes, and coordinate wrap production with your creative team—usually one to two weeks from approved artwork. On the street, professional drivers run the plan, and you get the agreed reporting after the event.
