Electric Branded Pedicabs Providing Free Rides
Case Study: Cisco Live 2025
How Cisco Turned Transportation Challenges into 520,000 Branded Impressions
During large-scale conventions like Cisco Live, attendees move constantly between hotels, restaurants, and the San Diego Convention Center. Traditional signage struggles to reach them once they leave the venue. Cisco sought an innovative way to extend brand visibility beyond the walls while providing a tangible service to attendees.
A Fleet in Motion: 89 Electric Pedicabs, 9,000 Rides, 12,460 Miles
VIP Pedicab deployed a fully electric fleet of 89 branded pedicabs covering downtown’s highest-traffic zones, Gaslamp Quarter, Marina District, and the Convention Center corridor.
Over four days, the fleet provided 9,000+ rides and traveled 12,460 miles, acting as moving billboards and sustainable shuttles. Each pedicab featured GPS tracking, enabling accurate reporting on routes, rider counts, and impression density.
Attendees photographed, shared, and posted the experience, creating organic reach long after the ride ended.
